The Law Students Association of Sri Lanka (LSASL) is a non-profit association created with the amalgamation of all Law Schools in the country, which provides the law students the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of the Legal education in Sri Lanka. The Association provides venues for academic cooperation and coordination among law students in the country. It shall also promote a continuing program of legal research in substantive and adjective law.
Association’s activities include academies, conferences, publication and global coordination and provide the law students a chance to engage in law discussions and law awareness programs on current issues.
The Law Students Association of Sri Lanka, being the first of its kind was a much needed intermediary movement to fill the void of a forum for interaction and representation of law students in Sri Lanka. Association’s primary focus thereby is to cultivate a spirit of cordiality and camaraderie among its members and contribute to their intellectual, social, physical and moral development. Hence shall promote better understanding, goodwill and cooperation with law students from each law schools and other countries on matters of mutual concern and benefit.
